Our paper on the tau-Herculid cluster observed on 31 May 2022 was published in Astronomy & Astrophysics

On March 19, the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics published a paper by an international team of authors, led by Pavel Koten, describing and analyzing a cluster of meteors observed during the activity of the tau Hercules meteor shower on May 31, 2022, by the cameras of an airborne expedition over North America. The cluster consisted of 52 meteors observed in just 8.5 seconds. A summary of the results of the paper can be viewed in the “What We’re Working On” section of the Astronomical Institute’s website (in Czech only).
