I was observing stars with my daughter, when looking at
Orion constellation a very bright fast object registered
peripherally moving from left side, with a hint of trail.
Never seen anything like this before. Direction unusual
for a meteor -- moving parallel to horizon.

above south horizon, east to west direction (left to
right), elevation approximately as Sirius, very small
apparent change in elevation over the observed range,
slight hint of trail, point source of bright white light,
very fast moving
