How to become a member

Commission 22 has currently 112 individual members from around the world. New members are admitted every three years during the IAU General Assembly, following the IAU rules. New mebwers are normally expected to hold PhD in astronomy or related fields and show record of independent research (publications).

Members have right to vote on scientific issues within IAU. There are no individual member fees.
